Following the first Engagement Capability Survey conducted in November and December 2010, RedBalloon and Shirlaws will be presenting their findings and releasing the first Engagement Capability Report.

This workshop for up to 30 participants is an investigation into the actions required to increase an organisation's capacity to improve employee engagement.

Oliver Christen from Shirlaws and James Wright from RedBalloon will unpack the results of the survey and look at what it takes to achieve 80%+ engagement scores.

RedBalloon is Australia's largest experiential gifting retailer and a 2010 Hewitt Best Employer with an engagement score of 90%+ for the last two years.

The RedBalloon corporate team supports organisations large and small to develop reward and recognition strategies and non-cash incentive programs that drive engagement and prove you can mix business with pleasure.

James will take the group through the do's and don't of recognition, outline the steps required to build an effective program and share some of the stories about what's working at RedBalloon and their clients.

Shirlaws is an award winning international firm of business advisers who create transformational change in organisations large and small by building depth in management and engagement capability to increase the value of the organisation for all stakeholders.

Oliver will share some simple tools to recognise the 4 types of staff and what drives them. He will also take you through a benchmarking exercise that will allow you to pinpoint which capabilties to invest in to drive engagement and the value of your organisation up in 2011.

The learning outcomes for the workshop include

1. Understanding the 20 elements of employee engagement that deliver the most effective results

2. Be in a position to better assess your organisations engagement capability

3. Identify the areas you want to impact in 2011 and how you will do it

4. Build an action plan that will boost engagement through more effective reward and recognition

 

The session starts at the Sebel Hotel and at 4pm we move 300m around the corner to Cheeky Food Group and enjoy a RedBalloon hands-on gourmet experience from 4.30pm until 7pm. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
